We will be hosting an Open House for new kindergarten parents and their child to visit the school. Please visit our school on Thursday, March 5th between 4:30pm and 5:30pm. 

Lenten Project - Once again this year we are asking our school community to support SchoolBox with their mission to help Northern Ontario Indigenous communities to build and/or enhance school libraries. “Walking the Path to Reconciliation, One Book At A Time” One of the activities will be a student Read-A-Thon where students will pledge to read books/chapters to raise money. The school we are supporting this year is Sakatcheway Anishinabe School in Grassy Narrows, Ontario.  Please sponsor your child’s Read-A-Thon by completing the pledge sheet that came home last Wednesday. All donations will be collected via School Cash Online.

Beginning on Oct. 14, our school will be using SafeArrival to report student absences. SafeArrival is designed to make it easier, faster, and more convenient for families to report absences and late arrivals.

With SafeArrival, there’s no need to call the school and leave a message. Instead, you can quickly and securely report your child’s absence in one of three ways:

• Using the SM Home App: Download and install the SM Home app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

• Online: Visit home.schoolmessenger.ca.

• Phone: Call the toll-free number 1-844-478-2598 and follow the prompts.
